Daniel's winning poem:

'Roses are red, unlike the orchid, I'm a hopeless romantic, and my poems are awkward.

I'll get you a bunch of flowers from the garage. Perhaps then we can start to plan our marriage.

Would you like iris? Roses? Clematis, or Posies? And while I'm at Fraser's, so we need any sundries?

Some milk, or cat food, or maybe The Times? I'm rapidly running out of rhymes.

So I'll wrap this up, and tell you I love you- and you know that that's true.

I'll pop to Budgens and fill the car with unleaded, and with a bit of luck soon we'll be wedded.’
