Mayfield are a family farm is situated at Barnard Gate near Witney, Oxfordshire and also use fields at Cogges nearby. The  hens are happy and enjoy an idyllic life, strolling free on grassy fields. Gordon and Joy Lyall are passionate about the welfare of the hens which results in good quality eggs. They are accredited to the Laid in Britain Quality Assurance scheme, audited annually by Compass catering and registered with Defra. They aim to produce and pack in as shorter time as possible to keep the eggs fresh. You can't beat the taste of a fresh egg - whether it's for breakfast or to make the perfect meringue!
