Oxford Cheese Company

In 1986 Robert Pouget formed the Oxford cheese company which took over the cheese shop and began to wholesale English and continental cheese to Oxford colleges and city restaurants. They have established themselves as the previous premier cheese supplier in the county, expanding their operation to the wonderful Oxford Cheese Sauce amongst a host of other products.

Loose Cannon Brewery

Loose Cannon is based in Abingdon on Thames, which had an extensive history of brewing up to the closure of Morlands Brewery in 2000.

Loose Cannon started trading in July 2010 with only one beer, the aptly named Abingdon Bridge.  Priding themselves at being at the forefront of the craft beer rising, multi-award winning Loose Cannon continue to design new, creative and refreshing contemporary beers for their legion of followers to enjoy.

Mayfield Eggs

Mayfield are a family farm is situated at Barnard Gate near Witney, Oxfordshire and also use fields at Cogges nearby. The hens are happy and enjoy an idyllic life, strolling free on grassy fields.

Gordon and Joy Lyall are passionate about the welfare of the hens which results in good quality eggs. They are accredited to the Laid in Britain Quality Assurance scheme, audited annually by Compass catering and registered with Defra. They aim to produce and pack in as shorter time as possible to keep the eggs fresh. You can’t beat the taste of a fresh egg – whether it’s for breakfast or to make the perfect meringue!

Cornfield Bakery

Based 12 miles away from Yarnton, Cornfield are a family run independent bakery who proudly make a huge range of bread & cakes with the emphasis on traditional craft made breads, including a range of sourdoughs; speciality flavoured & seeded breads, alongside our more regular tin breads.

Since the business was first established in 1972 they have steadily grown to the point where they are proud to be one of Oxfordshire’s leading Wholesale bread & cake suppliers as well as running two of their own shops in Wheatley & Thame, plus selling through several Farmers Markets. The low GI multiseed bread has built a strong reputation in the area with people coming for miles for this unique, delicious and nutritious loaf!
