Butcombe Brewery started brewing in 1978 and has become the West Country's best loved bitter serving pubs throughout Bristol, Somerset and the West Country. Originally built around the single brew - Butcombe Bitter, the new brewery was built in 2005 to allow for growth in new brews such as Gold, Blond and Rare Breed Ale, developed in collaboration with Adam Henson and still using Cotswolds Maris Otter barley from Adam's farm. Butcombe is one of the fastest growing breweries in the UK and delivers exceptional quality and consistency in their brewing.
